About

Born and raised in Colorado, the outdoors is my office.

My name is Josh Sinicki, I am a Colorado native. Growing up in the state of Colorado and loving the outdoors helped fuel my passion of photography. Growing up I was always outdoors and my love of nature helped me develop my love of photography. When in high school I started taking photography classes and that is where my true passion started. I have been spoiled with the Colorado landscapes and wildlife since a young age. I have 20 plus years experience from photographing the Winter X Games in Aspen to more recently a Falcon 9 launch from the Kennedy Space Center, I am always working to improve my craft. I have been told if you love what you are doing you never work a day in your life. When it comes to photography I truly believe that is the case.

When I have camera in my hands, I’m in my happy place. When it comes to my nature photography I have had a book sitting on a coffee table since I was young which has pictures taken by W.H. Jackson in 1870 and then pictures of the same location by the great John Fielder in 2000. Looking at the vast difference in pictures made me realize that no matter how many times I visit the same location there will never be the same. I visit Rocky Mountain National Park at least twice a year and you will never know what opportunities will present itself when you are out at a location. I have a list of dream locations on which I would one day get to experience and be able to photograph the landscape and the wildlife in those areas.

In between photo excursions I have started to do more workshops and take more photography classes. I currently shoot with my Nikon D750 I would like to add another Nikon DSLR to my collection to give me options when I am out on location shooting without having to rush and change lens and miss a once in a lifetime moment. I am currently open to scheduling for any photography needs from family pictures to birthday parties, I am willing to travel feel free to contact me and we can discuss your photography needs. I will be soon adding a shop to this site if anyone would like to support a small local business.
